Iran to Present New Proposal Package Soon

TEHRAN (FNA)- Iran will soon submit its updated proposal package to the six world powers, said Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council Saeed Jalili on Thursday.

Speaking on the sidelines of a memorial service for departed Iraqi political leader Abdul Aziz Hakim in Tehran, Iranian top nuclear negotiator said the "new proposal package of Iran will soon be presented."

The remarks came after the White House and the EU Foreign Policy Chief Javier Solana said that they have not received anything from Tehran after Jalili said in a press conference on Tuesday that Iran was "ready to present its new proposal package" in a move towards achievement of justice, progress and peace in the international scene, the Iranian students news agency reported.

"Relying on its power and employing national and regional capacities, Iran is ready to cooperate in order to allay mutual concerns in the international scene," he told reporters adding "now after the glorious presidential elections of Iran, Tehran presents its updated proposal package."
